Frank, I'm afraid that patronising the developers is not a good way of
encouraging them to discuss things with you. Yes, we could rewrite parts
of the live CD infrastructure now in order to remove the need to provide
text. Yes, we could ignore the problem that non-black backgrounds will
look dreadful on machines which don't scale the image to fill the entire
screen. But we're not going to so near a release. Sorry about that. In
three weeks, we can have this discussion again.
