ubuntu-laptop useful?

Hello

Usually when installing ubuntu-desktop a lot of laptop packages pulled
in. A lot of ACPI setups and hotkey-setup comes to mind.

How would it be to have an other metapackage like: ubuntu-laptop
for this porposes?
Since personally all this powersave options doesn´t work here and causes
in best latency in bootprozess and in the running system i disable them
after at all.

What do you think?
