The reason might be, the following: fai-kernels has been temporarily
removed in Debian unstable because of a communication error (it is
about to be obsoleted). If Ubuntu tried to sync it in this time, that
might have been resulted in an error and so the package removed from
Ubuntu's "synchronize-list" in case sich thing exists(does it?).
I am not sure though, I fai.kernels is already obsolete for FAI or not
- I am about to investigate that.
FAI 2.9.1 has , in addtion to the bug registered in launchpad, another
bug anyway that will make it not work on an Ubunte install server. It
refers to kernel-image packages, which are called linux-image in
Debian unstable and Ubuntu.
The FAI Debian maintainer and me started working on this, unsure if we
get it done for dapper.
