I agree on this, when I reported my first bugs I was very disappointed
when there was no response at all from anyone for quite some time.
Just a short response saying it will take some time to get it fixed or
asking for more information or telling what you can do yourself to
help fix this bug would be a lot better en encouraging than nothing.
