I use several programs to open the same file type, depending on it's
size, complexity, what I want to do with it, etc. Now that's not
(easily) possible anymore. "Matthew's proposal" would fix this
regression _and_ actually make it easier for me in the future. :-)
(I subscribed to the bug.)
And like some other people said: it's a potential security issue...
