Rescue mode bad for users.

I just took a new user through re-installing his boot record with rescue
mode.  I must say that no new user is ever going to figure this out.
This is probably one of the most common operations, I have done this a
few times and is currently the only reason I have had to go into rescue
mode.

Is there any chance that this could be looked into before Dappers
release?  I suggest a top level menu right on boot. "Repair boot record"
or something similar.
