Hi,

I don't know if this is the right mailing list to post this thread at, but
I guess it might help some people which did a apt-get dist-upgrade on edgy
about 2 days ago.

Yesterday, I could not sudo anymore, meaning that I couldn't upgrade my
edgy box anymore. update-manager wasn't prompting for a password and when
I was running sudo apt-get dist-upgrade I had the following error:

>>> sudoers file: syntax error, line 2 <<<
>>> sudoers file: syntax error, line 16 <<<
>>> sudoers file: syntax error, line 18 <<<
>>> sudoers file: syntax error, line 19 <<<
>>> sudoers file: syntax error, line 20 <<<
sudo: parse error in /etc/sudoers near line 2

I guess I might have upgraded my system the wrong day as finally, after
upgrading my distro, sudo was running fine again.

I came out with a work around (booting in recovery mode, enabling root
user and then I was able to upgrade my system).

For the few of you guys which might have encountered the same trouble as I
did, here is the way to fix your system up:

Hope this helps :)
