Installing a compiler by default

*nods* The autopackage guys can whine all they want, they aren't going
to unite linux, different package managers have different properties
because they target different people.
For the sake of 20megs , is it really worth a sustained argument? If
you can't cope with 20megs taken up, you're using DSL, period.
It will save a lot of newer users from confusion and it's nice to be
able to dev out of the box (or at least as well as you can without an
IDE installed)...
