Oh, I absolutely agree.
Why can't people write their letters with vi? Starts faster than Open
Office and uses less resources, and it's part of every standard *nix
system....
And it's trivial to set up mutt...
And you can do almost anything with screen and ssh.
*cough*
Just kidding.
But really.... are you serious?
