Great version Dapper Drake, especially for laptop support. This is the
first distro that every has got my Aspire 5000 to work with power
saving, onboard wifi etc. I have been running it all through the
development process and finally cleaned it all out and installed
fresh. The power efficiency has improved ... battery life is up 50%
over other distros I have run.

A minor problem ... I have tried editing xorg.conf as I have before to
add higher screen resolutions. No luck this time and I am stuck at
1024x768.

Any tricks anyone can supply? The screen controller is an SIS type
one. The 915 trick is not applicable I don't believe.

Thanks,
