I am personally glad to see that rather than try to encourage user
participation and invite the user to put this on the technical board agenda,
that Matthew Garret apparently has veto power over the whole idea.


On a side note, I did not see Mr. Garrett's name on:
http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/governance, but this item may be
added to the agenda at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TechnicalBoardAgenda
