Gene,
E16 should work using apt-get. If you are referring to the
developmental E17. There are some scripts on ubuntuforums that will
retrieve all of the modules from CVS. I am currently using this and
enjoying it. http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=97199 is the
one i used. You'll only run into trouble with this one if you don't
have xine properly installed (or not installed at all in my case)
Simply use the --skip flag to skip those that have problems.
