Music sharing is off by default in iTunes, and can also be blocked for 
all users in the administrator-only firewall prefs. So all those music 
collections are from people who explicitly chose to share them.

Why? Because revealing the existence of Ubuntu machines in the building 
is bad, sharing music voluntarily is bad, or some other reason?
