installer integration

I have been working on improving the dmraid package persuant to 
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FakeRaidSpec and I believe I have correctly 
udebified the package, but I am having trouble figuring out how to 
integrate it into the setup cd for testing.  The package needs to be 
installed and configured before partman runs, but after hard disks have 
been detected.  I figured the easiest way to do this is to add it as a 
dep to partman, only when I got the source to partman, it's control file 
does not show that it has a -udeb target, so now I'm confused. 


Why does partman appear to not have a -udeb, and what is the correct way 
to integrate dmraid into the installer?
