LTSP - kernel command line

Hi,
I'm trying to build an LTSP system on top of dapper. My problem is
that the kernel built (2.6.15-12-386) doesn't seem to understand the
DPORT option. This is supposed to allow me to point the initrd to a
different port for DHCP requests (since port 67 is used by my router,
and doesn't understand the lines necessary to provide an NFS root
directory). If I use an etherboot kernel, I see in the kernel debug
that it is being passed properly (it reports it as part of the kernel
command line), but the DHCP queries still go out on port 67, and are
answered by my router.
Thanks
