SCIM in 6.04

Hi Developers,

I am a Tamil guy from Srilanka.
using ubuntu 5.10 on my desktop and office computer as well.
I'm maintaining a website and a blog in Tamil.
since i installed ubuntu i couldn't type Tamil.
scim is making problems there.

scim with m17n working well in fedora, mandriva, and suse.

will ubuntu 6.04 support scim ?
giving scim in default installation is cool.
in my opinion, ubuntu is specially for third world.
so it should contain a keyboard driver for Unicode input.

can you guys please consider about it?
