aiglx is certainly better than xgl from a design point of view, as xgl
is a completely seperate xserver that needs to run on top of the xorg
xserver to work and aiglx is a part of the xorg xserver. Also, the
hardware support is basically the same as Xglx, as what they both need
to work is GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap which proprietary nvidia and
ati drivers currently don't support. Basically, aiglx is what we
eventually want and it's only disadvantages seem to be lack of Xvideo
support and small bugs with non-fullscreen OpenGL apps.
