That's not strictly true. [1] There are power management problems [2] which
effectively disabled association with APs without manual intervention.
ethtool/connection detection support is still bleeding edge too. [3]

Furthermore, the version of the kernel in dapper [4] is not compatible
with the current driver development. (Though, people are still waiting
for kernel updates [5] for other issues...)
