I tried the 20060214 build, and now the problem disappeared, and the
keyboard layout is correct in console and X mode. Superb!

Sadly, the other problems I posted remains yet. Above all, the screen
resolution problem in X is frustrating :/. I've posted several files I
hope helps for bug haunting.

Surprisingly, I noted the "nvidia" module is loaded, but the system uses
the "nv" driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. I tried s/nv/nvidia in xorg.conf,
but the X server responds:

(EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) No drivers available.

Fatal server error:
no screens found


Hope this helps for catching the bugs.
