I'm not worried about the legal ramifications; we discussed at least a
few on this list following Breezy's release for ffmpeg. By "not
worried" I mean that I know additional packaging efforts will result in
'foo-multiverse' packages, and that's where my effort is going to be
concentrated.

And my point is that I'm not interested in prolonging this thread
beyond its usefulness: I'm down to work on vlc, and I welcome any
assistance to that end.
