[ bounced to ubuntu-devel as, unlike most vacation notices, it contains
info of general interest to people who don't work for Canonical ]
Due to a stellar bit of scheduling on my part, I somehow forgot to take
a vacation this year, so I'll be off from nowish until January 05. What
does this mean for you? Well, here goes:
Tollef (Mithrandir or tfheen on freenode) will be handling generic
day-to-day buildd tasks. If you need packages given-back or build snags
investigated and untangled, he's the man to ask.
LaMont (lamont on freenode) has agreed to babysit the security/livefs
buildds. Please don't bug him about anything else, he's already doing
this out of the kindness of his heart, and I'd rather not push him. :)
There will be an automatic rebuild test about halfway through my
vacation. I'll come out of hiding long enough to coordinate that and
make it go, but I wouldn't expect too many fixes to be made, or bugs
filed until I officially get back.
The ubuntu-archive team is large enough now that no one should notice
much of a dent made by my absence, other than binary NEW processing
taking perhaps a few days instead of a few hours, as most of the archive
team tends to do processing in batches on their assigned archive days.
Should the world explode, Canonical employees have several dozen ways to
contact me, and I'm not planning on falling off the face of the earth
for the next 3.5 weeks, so consider me on-call for emergencies.
Have a good Christmas, and a happy New Year, everyone. I'll see you all
in January.
... Adam
