CD image size recovery suggestions

Replace vim by vim-tiny, saving over 6MB (vim-runtime); we already have 
one editor (gedit), we don't need another big editor for the command 
line. If people expect a complete vim, we could modify the start screen 
to point to the whistles-and-bells version of vim.
