Hello,

Currently Ubuntu comes with no font for Urdu Language. I would like to
request the developers to please consider adding Nafees Web Naskh font
in the default Ubuntu Installation. Nafees Web Naskh is the most
popular, widely used Urdu font on web pages, software and office
applications. It is developed by Crulp and is available under this
license terms:

What I have gathered from this license is that we can redistribute the
license by changing its name to something using neither Nafees nor
Crulp. So I suggest adding it as "Ubuntu Urdu Naskh" (Naskh means Font
in Urdu).

Secondly I would like to request that the default Ubuntu installation
comes with a keyboard lay out for Urdu to choose from various layouts. I
don't know how it came here but this Urdu Keyboard layout "PAK" is not
standard and user friendly keyboard layout. Most commonly used Urdu
Keyboard Layout is also distributed by Crulp available from their
website. We can install it manually but it would be great to see it
replace the PAK keyboard layout.
