Automatic GRUB installation only if GRUB isn't already installed

Yes, I could.

However, I still think the behaviour of Desktop CD is not correct. Once 
there IS some non-trivial boot loader on disk, Ubuntu shouldn't just 
trash it and put his own instead. There must be a reason, why there has 
been GRUB before the Ubuntu installation, right?

Besides, Microsoft is doing the same and I don't think anybody likes 
that ;o)
