Hello,
I disscussed with Riddell in #kubuntu-devel about including ipodslave in main
and it was decided that it would be worth trying so {I,we} worked on a
MainInclusionReport[0] and its in the Que[1] . I figured you would see the
edit on the wiki and get to the report when you had time, meantime Riddell
sugested I rebuild it without the universe deps and have it uploaded and
ready. Hope this clears up the actions so far.

As for the "What should this be good for?" its so we can enable konqueror
to "do the right thing" when the ipod icon is clicked on the desktop after it
has been inserted by opening this kio-slave "ipod:/" , right now the only
ipod support in the desktop is Amarok and it is cumbersum for new users to
get used to vs the windows way or even other Linux's such as SuSE that do it
with ipodslave by default. I'm willing to keep this maintained ( through
sponsors untill someday I make ubuntu-core-dev ) and it is well maintained by
both upstream and SuSE contributions.
