Me too (mostly because KDE and Gnome use different libraries and they
shouldn't have to but also because you can't use gnome-vfs on the
terminal), but FUSE doesn't just magically work, does it? I mean, my
mother-in-law can't use it, can she?
Presumably with a gnome-vfs module we could have the camera pop up in
nautilus when hal detects that it's been connected, and show up in the
"Places" menu, etc.
