funny colours in windows

before I go through the hassle of working out the circumstances in which
it happens and making a bug against something, I want to check...

It is a known general bug at the moment that some buttons and progress
bars in various applications (nautilus and gramps come to mind) have
strange coloured tints to them sometimes, until the mouse hovers over
them? I've observed lime green (nautilus) pink (evolution?) and peach
(gramps).
