Installing fonts in breezy

This is probably better covered on the ubuntu-desktop list. That said,
here's the answer to your question:

  System > Preferences > Font
  Click Details...
  Click Go to font folder

... and there you have a full preview of all your fonts in a file manager
window, with drag-n-drop installation of fonts for your user. Very easy to
work with, but *EXTREMELY* hard to find. You can also get there by typing
'fonts:///' in the file manager. But yes, either way is badly hidden. I'm
sorry that such a great feature is so hard to find!

Hopefully we can fix this for Dapper. But at least it exists for you in
Breezy (and has been in GNOME releases for ages now).
