Getting involved in ubuntu (was Re: metapackages)

Helping in four steps:

first: go to http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com and register yourself.

second: find a nasty bug - we are approaching the release of ubuntu
5.10, so it will be GOOD if you do. You can be sure that still there are
some.

third: fix that bug.

fourth: provide the patch in bugzilla itself. You can be preety sure
that the package maintainers will notice :-)


Seriously, get used to bugzilla and launchpad, and start posting new
bugs and fixing other ones. What comes after is consequence.
