Then I'm not the only one to have this terrible problem!?!
=> Same problem here :( Just upgraded to Breezy today, everything seems
to be ok but it somehows performs slower.
I was really amazing about the upgrade from Hoary to Breezy (very good,
no problemo) but now I'm in Breezy, it's unusable, unworkable!
Here's my hdparm results:
/dev/hda:
Timing cached reads: 424 MB in 2.00 seconds = _*211.61_MB/sec*_
Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 3.10 seconds = 20.63 MB/sec
/dev/hda:
using_dma = 1 (on)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TERRIBLY SLOW!
If any solution is found, I'll have to reinstall Hoary!
It's too bad because the upgrade was very wel done x_X
I'm sure it's a little thing, a little param or config but what!?!
That's the question ...
