Out of the box USB wireless support

With a fresh install of Breezy and my Linksys WUSB54 card, I've just had to manually install ndiswrapper and sort out it's dependancies (which is a bit of a pain on a non-networked machine) so I was just wondering, why isn't this included out of the box? Are there any plans to do such a thing? I've heard mention of the madwifi drivers being included somewhere. Any clarification of this would be greatly appreciated. Regards -- Thom
