"A repository of innovative ideas" - A Ubuntu sub-project

Brainstorming and a 'repository of innovative ideas' is a good idea. To
me, that article linked to in the top post reads more like another
thinly veiled attempt to discredit and undermine OSS, to wit:



"The open source movement, with its hacker ethic, doesn't promote
professionalism."



uh huh...



"The absence of design leadership in the OSS development process" 



uh huh...



"A continued shift towards OSS solutions at the expense of proprietary
ones is likely to result in many of the companies that develop
proprietary software going out of business."



uh huh... OSS is bad for business, I have heard that somewhere
before...



government should offer "assistance to combat the threat to the
industry's livelihood that OSS might pose"...



uh huh... getting clearer now...  :roll:
