ltsp thin client boot error

I did a clean install of Breezy(Preview) on my server and did all the
updates.
Configured my second NIC to 192.168.0.1 for the thin client lan so that the
default dhcp would work. Then I did
sudo apt-get install ltsp-server-standalone
sudo ltsp-build-client
Then I plugged in a laptop and booted in PXE mode. It looks like the dhcp
hooked up, but after several pages of output I got
/init: 64: Syntax error: 0x
[4294674.381000] Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Normally I'd be happy to try and sort this out - I've installed dozens of
ltsp systems, but with RH systems. I'm new to ubuntu/debian, don't have the
boot process down pat and don't know what logs to look at or where they are
for diagnostics. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction.
