cpufreq-detect.sh broken on PIV M?

(Exists in latest breezy)

There's an outstanding bug here, but I believe the title is misleading
as I think this affects all PIV M processors:

http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10676

It's assigned to Thom May who I believe is absent from the project right
now.

As you will see below, cpufreq-detect.sh is just comparing model name,
which is the same for Centrino and PIV M, but use separate speedstep
modules.

Is there another way to use a different identifier, such as model, cpu
family, or some such? I don't know what these numbers mean. Does
anybody know?

Here's the /proc/cpuinfo of a processor posted online for a Centrino:

processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 13
