fedora list states to put "dev.cdrom.lock = 0" in /etc/sysctl.conf and
reloading with sysctl -p

this works for me, but i'm no expert and not sure if this affects the system
in anyway.
i've been able to open nautilus viewing contents of cdrom...and then
pressing the eject button on the cdrom and the files clear when ejecting.
from my standpoint....so far so good. anybody else care to look and try?
btw, i tried this on my hoary system, will try on breezy later.
