LTSP success + question about customization

According to you advice on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ThinClientHowto
I report one more successfull installation. The ssh-keys were also correct by 
default.

I now have a few questions though:

a) How do I customize the LTSP login screen? Can't find any ldm.conf or 
similar. Nothing about it on google either. I'd like to translate it into 
Finnish and hide the menu bar.

b) I also want to provide my Windows-users an opportunity to login to the 
Linux server. What remote desktop system do you recommend? VNC, thightVNC, 
FreeNX?
