Hello,
I've just installed a brand new Kubuntu and set up LTSP the Ubuntu way:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ThinClientHowto
Everything else is working, except that the boot up of the thin-client stops
with error messages like these:
[...]
IP-Config: eth0 complete (from 192.168.1.1):
address: 192.168.1.10 broadcast: 192.168.1.255 netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.1 dns0: 212.27.54.252 dns1: 212.27.39.134
rootserver: 192.168.0.10 rootpath: 192.168.0.10:/opt/ltsp/i386/
Begin: Running /scripts/nfs-premount ...
Done.
nfsmount: need a path
Begin: Running /scripts/nfs-bottom ...

Begin: Running /scripts/init-bottom ...
Done.
mount: Mounting /root/dev on /dev/.static/dev failed: No such file or
directory
mount: Mounting /dev on /root/dev failed: No such file or directory
Target filesystem doesn't have /sbin/init
--> goes into BusyBox and says:
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
I've googled all the phrases here, checked all the logs, read
documentation - yet I fail to find any useful information.
How can I debug this? What might be wrong?
Thanks for for a great distro,
