Ubuntu consistency changes

Hello,

I just have to let someone know about this list of minor
inconsistencies. I'm going to try and keep this short in just in case
this is the wrong type of mail for this list. Whether it is or isn't
please let me know. If it is I shall follow up with a small list of
what other Linux distros do that Ubuntu currently does not.

(I'm not filing these in the Ubuntu bugzilla because I can't face
signing up for another one. If someone wants me to file bugs in
upstream GNOME, freedesktop, mozilla, openoffice or KDE bugzillas
then let me know and I shall do so)

Openoffice does not share "learned words" with the rest of GNOME.
Separate dictionaries are bearable but why not share/import learned
words?
gedit spellchecker can cope with won't but not wouldn't.
Pressing / does not activate find in yelp yet yelp's find appears to
be typeahead.
When Ubuntu prompts for a password, the password window has no
border. This makes it feel very strange and does not draw attention
to it (focus appears to be elsewhere looking at titlebar colours).
To get to OpenOffice's configuration screens you have to go to Tools
-> Options rather than Edit -> Preferences like the rest of GNOME.
Right mouse button on certain GNOME applets (screensaver lock, system
monitor, Network monitor) have properties menu options rather than
preferences of other programs (I guess only plain icons have
properties?)
gvim has no menu icon.
Version information in System -> About GNOME is not selectable like
version information in other program's About windows.
Credits button in some about windows has a star next to it, but not
in others (contrast Evolution with Nautilus)
Credits' window textarea colour is sometimes grey, sometimes white
(contrast Evolution Credits with Nautilus Credits).
Ubuntu Firefox should use GNOME like theme?
Nautilus should browse archives like folders.
