I think it was fixed in 20051012[1] release, which includes the package
xscreensaver_4.21-4ubuntu17_i386.deb, fixed by Ogra[2]. The xscreensaver
package still needs some work, but at least the desktop icon is almost
correct. (It is now "Protetor de tela" instead of "Proteção de Tela")
I'm downloading the image just to be sure of that, and test the other stuff.
