I wanna help!



I have an Acer Aspire 1362WLC (and my girlfriend has one to, exact same
modell) with a weird problem that nobody have solved to me yet:



The laptop has a Via K8M800 graphics-card, and when I try the
via-drivers (from unichrome.sf.net, and the binary-ones made for
ubuntu) the computer hard-locks and I have to reset it to be able to
use it again. It is imposible to ping the computer from the net when
this happens and no keys will work, so I am sure it is not just X that
dont work.

The only drivers I can get working is the Vesa-drivers, and they are no
fun...



My girlfriend has the exact same problem... she uses Hoary 5.04 and I
use Breezy.



What should I do to help? I am willing to help...
