I'm a Bengali user.

I found Bengali is not working well. One in-built font has Bengali
Glyph in it but that doesn't works well. I also could not change the UI
font. I mean I have installed lots of Bangla OpenType fonts (I’m a font
developer and you can find my works from http://ekushey.sf.net ) but I
could not make them work by changing the Bangla fonts from Applications
> Preferences > Font >

I also found that the Firefox or Thunderbird is not Pango enabled, so
how come we are going to get Bangla or any other Indic language
support? Ubuntu is getting popular day by day in Bangladesh, but all of
the users are disappointed as we don’t have good Bangla support. If this
is not a right place for the discussion, then please suggest me where
can I continue the discussion.
