A quick glace at gnome files reveals the following tools:

For clam:
ClamTk
AVScan
and the aformentioned Aegis Virus Scanner

For fprot:
Xfprot
Visual F-Prot

Looking at the UI of them, I would go with ClamTk or Aegis.
