a note for libglademm package

Hi all,
I'm developing a little program using gtkmm/libglademm. 
I'm staticaly linking it because de linux desktops here at work are a
mess with library things (and the sys admin just don't care).
When compiling my program, I saw that ligblademm was compiled without
--enable-static, and the other libs in ubuntu (AFAIK) provide static and
dynamic libraries.
I looked at control file in debian dir, but there's only the debian
developer there. How can I know who builded a package for ubuntu?
