Python IDE (SPE / wxPython 2.5 doesn't work)

Hi,
I'm a Delphi user and I think that and IDE like this would be great.
There's already 'Boa Constructor'
(http://boa-constructor.sourceforge.net/) but when I tried it wasn't
mature enough and works using wxPython (which is indeed great, but I'd
prefer pyGtk).
When working on Python I tend to use 'SciTe'
(http://www.scintilla.org/SciTE.html) that can execute the code you're
typing and check Python syntax.
What I'd like to see is seeing Scite + 'Gazpacho'
(http://gazpacho.sicem.biz/) + integrated debugging (i.e. set
breakpoints and, when breaking, just put a mouse cursor over the name
of a var. and its value appear as a tooltip. Huge time saving). Code
completion would be really nice to (windows editor supplied with python
can do code completion and I even Idle).
So, I guess we can say that there are already 2 pieces: Gazpacho and
Scintilla (the library behind Scite). I think but be great if a first
"tie" between this to projetcs appers. What I'm thinking is doing
things like double-click on a signal and code window open setting it's
cursor into a new signal handler function ready for you to type code
and things like this. A good first step IMHO.
