RC install report

I'm in the midst of an install on a Dell Latitude D810 laptop using
the rc image.  I got an error in base config:

Setting up xserver-xorg (6.8.2-7) ...
dpkg: error processing xserver-xorg (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10


Then base-config threw me into aptitude, and I'm currently upgrading
to latest hoary packages (xserver 6.8.2-8, among others) and trying to
install those.

Will update on status once it finishes.
