That's why I made that second suggestion. Having an option somewhere would
make it simple. If you don't want to see KDE apps in Gnome, uncheck the
KDE option. The options could even be generated based on the defined list
of environments from freedesktop (only showing the ones that have entries
present on the disk). It's also a much easier solution than putting the
OnlyShowIn options in all the desktop files.
