dhcp detect netboot, setup, post install, resuling system.

Can the dhcp server detect what phase the client is in?

By phase, I mean:

1. netboot - the dhcp request is sent by the nic/bios.
2. Installer - the initial "setting up network"
3. Post Install - after the reboot, the box comes up but is not fully
configured yet.
4. resuling system - The completed system after all install operations
are finished.

Not sure there is or needs to be any difference between 3 and 4. 3=box
is still under the control of the Admin, 4=box is under the control of
the user.

I am not sure how important this is, but it may lend itself to my hands
off install goal. It would definatly make my testing easier - I am
having to juggle configs around so that my test boxes get one set of
settings and my production boxes get another. I could use MAC to
seperate those 2 sets, but that doesn't let me have different configs
for the same box in the different phases of install.
