Laptop gnome-volume

Hi all, i've got a questions about this, i have an HP nx5000 laptop
and i've enabled the volume control multimedia-buttons included in my
laptop. It works fine with the key binding app, but when i mute the
sound, and i left it muted by more than 5 seconds, when i unmute the
sound, it unmute but with 0% volume, if i unmute the sound before the
5 seconds, the sound become normal again with the % i left it.
It maybe is a gnome-volume bug, or it's the key binding, i don't know,
anyone knows?
