IMO it's not Evolution's primary goal to be intuitive; it's Evolution's 
primary goal to allow migration from Windows, by taking advantage of 
what Outlook users have already learned. (Roughly, Evolution is to 
Outlook what Firefox is to Internet Explorer.) And that's an important job.

If anyone wants to develop an e-mail client designed for maximum 
Gnomeness (the e-mail equivalent of Epiphany), I'd be interested in 
helping design it (as I am with Epiphany).
