This is a well known bug that will be fixed in Firefox 1.1.  The only
website I've run upon that it effects is Slashdot.  There's a Slashfix
extension to automatically resize the page as a workaround.  You can
manually do this by upping the font (ctrl+) then decreasing it back
(ctrl-).
